Ebenezer AME Church is blessed to have gifted and anointed leaders from the Episcopacy down.
As a member of the First Episcopal District of the African Methodist Episcopal Church; Ebenezer serves under the Episcopal Leadership of the Rt. Rev. Samuel Lawrence Green Sr., Episcopal Supervisor Phyllis N. Green; and as member of the New Brunswick Presiding Elder District of the New Jersey Annual Conference; Ebenezer serves under the effective leadership of Presiding Elder Rev. Dr. James Coaxum III.
The Official Board is composed of all class leaders, exhorters, deaconesses, stewards, trustees, stewardesses and presidents of all organizations of a church including the president of the Lay Organization. The Official board should meet at least once per month; local preachers are regarded as honorary members of the board and are required to visit the meetings regularly.
