We have worked to instill, and reinforce in us as people of God, both the privileges and the heavy responsibility that comes with being a member of the household of faith. Her reminder to us, is that Paul encouraged the Church at Galatia with these words “as we have opportunity, let us do good to everyone, and especially to those who are of the household of faith (Gal 6:10).”
Over the last few years The Lord has blessed us with opportunities to “do good” by serving and sharing our faith in the Rahway and Union County communities. “Good” has been done through our support services for after-school tutoring, the Sons of Allen Mentoring program, the outreach of the Deborah Women’s Missionary Society, the free clothing boutique and our Community Service Days. All of these works have positively impacted lives and changed our community for the better and as a result our church has grown by leaps and bounds both numerically and spiritually.
Therefore, we have partnered with two international churches Chapel of Christ the Redeemer AME Church in Kingston, Jamaica, West Indies and the soon to be Ebenezer AME Church of Lirangwe, Malawi, Africa for the purpose of:
